Connecting Dots – Matchmaking Seminar

On November 14th takes place in Lisbon a matchmaking meeting in the axis of arts to promote the development of partnerships between national entities and donor countries.

Cultural cooperation between artists and experts, arts organizations and institutions from Portugal and Donor States is an essential feature of the Open Call “Connecting Dots - Arts Mobility and Audience Development” in which projects will include mandatory partnerships between one or more Portuguese artistic entities, one or more donor states artistic entities and one or more Portuguese hosting municipalities.

The Connecting Dots – Matchmaking Seminar, organized by the Directorate General for the Arts under the Culture Programme, will provide a wide space for brainstorming, sharing experiences and knowledge among participants from Portugal, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

The Seminar will be structured around pitching and matchmaking sessions to promote and present communications on the importance of the arts and municipalities for local and regional development.

Participation in the Seminar is subject to registrations and space capacity.

To promote the participation in the “Connecting Dots – Matchmaking Seminar” financial support for travel to Lisbon is available for interested entities, according to the Open Call for support for Travel Expenses.
