Programme:What is the project about?
The GendER@UC EEA Grants project aims to reinforce the integration of the gender perspective in Universidade de Coimbra research processes and content by implementing a set of measures promoting Gender Equality (GE), through the training of researchers, the on changing the procedures of the R&D Units, includes the actions of removing barriers to participation and promoting GE; and the change in the production and communication of knowledge includes actions of gender analysis with a view to the elimination of stereotypes and gender biases.
It is an Open Call #2 project: Projects to combat sex segregation in educational and professional choices and discrimination in the labour market

- Bootcamp Women Researchers@UC: three training and networking sessions, including a 16-hour immersive session.
- "Gender and Leadership for Research Excellence" Workshops: held in 2022 and 2023, with 42 participants.
- Development of a handbook with practical recommendations for integrating the gender perspective in the management of R&D Units.
- Preparation of a Guide for Inclusive Event Planning and inclusive recruitment and selection procedures, available online.
- Three interdisciplinary training sessions with 74 participants, focused on integrating the gender perspective in research.
- Production of a guide for integrating the gender perspective in ERC@UC and MarieCurie@UC research programmes.
- Workshop on inclusive communication in research, with 26 participants, held in 2023.
- Development of a Manual on Inclusive Communication in Research.
