Project idea:
"Stig van Eijk has worked for over 20 years as an artist on a professional level. He has been on stage around the world, spreading joy through music and entertainment. After living in Portugal in 2010, he became strongly associated with the country. The fishing village of Ericeira gave him a lot of inspiration to both create new music, but also to absorb the culture. The country has got a bit of heart to Stig and now he wants to create a project involving artists from both countries. Stig has been involved in Norwegian reggae in recent years, and will now combine several music genres into his music. It is important to explore, play with rhythms, song, instruments and see what direction it can take. Maybe it could be exciting to incorporate some fado into the music? Or classic guitar? Hiphop? There are only opportunities in which direction this project can go.
We also want to find another art genre that can be combined with the music. It can be visual. Pictures...
Photography... Digital performing arts. We can then find a pervasive theme for our production. It can be a
concert with an important message that also comes through the visual. It is also possible to draw children
into the project if appropriate. When we hold concerts in Portugal and Norway we can also customize the
project so that we can involve schools. Everything is possible.
Now we want to establish possible contacts in Portugal that will carry out the project with us. We have had a conversation with Anja Johnsen who lives in Portugal and with whom we have a good cooperation. It is natural for her to be our contact person in Portugal. We will create an exciting musical collaboration and will use the time at the seminar to meet others in different fields".

Anja Johnsen lives in Ericeira and works with different things in culture. She has long worked as a web designer for several major players, but also has a close relationship with the music community in Portugal.
Stig and Anja collaborated for one year in 2010 and staged several successful events and concerts during this period. It is natural for her to be our contact person in Portugal. We will create an exciting musical collaboration and will use the time at the seminar to meet others in different fields.
