On the 21st and 22nd of March 2022, within the scope of the project “Adaptação às Alterações Climáticas em Vila Nova de Poiares”, the second stakeholder meeting with the Norwegian partner NILU - Norwegian Institute for Air Research will take place.
The second meeting of stakeholders aims to promote the debate on the measures foreseen in the Adaptation Plan to Climate Change of Vila Nova de Poiares and the sharing of good practices developed by the Norwegian partner NILU.
This meeting will also include visits to good practices in the Municipality of Vila Nova de Poiares, such as: Capril São Miguel; Pond of S. Miguel; Quinta da Moenda and Condominium Project in Aldeia, Ribas and Fonte Longa.
The project “Adaptação às Alterações Climáticas em Vila Nova de Poiares” is financed through the Program “Environment, Climate Change and Economy of Low Carbon” of the EEA Grants Financial Mechanism 2014 – 2021.The meetings on March 21st and 22nd are intended to be a participatory process for the elaboration of the Municipality's Adaptation Plan to Climate Change.
The project “Adaptação às Alterações Climáticas em Vila Nova de Poiares” will to allow the strengthening of the Vila Nova de Poiares strategy – continuous and integrated – with the ultimate objective of minimizing and preventing extreme weather events. So this will be a working session open to everyone's participation!
