Matchmaking Event - “Living Labs for Low Carbon and Climate Change Mitigation”

Matchmaking event to promote the cooperation among the donor states and Portugal on partnership projects on low carbon Living labs.

The Matchmaking Event “Living Labs for Low Carbon and Climate Change Mitigation” will take place on February 13th and is part of the Bilateral Relations Fund initiatives between the Programme Operator of the Environment Programme and its Donor Programme Partner, Innovation Norway.

The projects to be submitted should include testing of products, services, applications and infrastructures, local governance models and awareness campaigns on:

  • Circular Economy
  • Sustainable Urban Mobility
  • Energy
  • Buildings

Applicants can participate in the Event for Bilateral Meetings between the Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and Portugal.

Participants from the Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and Portugal can present their ideas in the pitching session (three minutes per entity, first in first served) at 30 maximum.

The Programme Environment will support the presence of entities through a Call for Travel Support with the aim of stimulating lasting cooperation between donor countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and Portugal.

The allocated budget for this call is EUR 20.000.

Under the EEA Grants 2014-2021, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, as donor Countries, finance, in 15 Member States of the European Union, initiatives and projects with the objective of reducing social and economic disparities by strengthening bilateral relations with beneficiary Countries.

The Secretary General for Environment and Climate Action (SGMAAC) was appointed Operator of the Environment, Climate Change and Low Carbon Economy Programme (Environment Programme), and has as its Programme Partner, Innovation Norway (IN).
