The session took place this morning, at the Congress Center Alfândega Porto.
The 8 projects financed under Call#1 were presented, whose scope consists of increasing the application of the Circular Economy principles in production and consumption through the implementation of solutions for the deposit of plastic bottles and cans. Use of practices for reusing plastic bottles, for producers to resort to the use of recycled plastic bottles and cans and solutions for the treatment and recycling of plastic bottles and cans.
The event was attended by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Inês dos Santos Costa, and the Norwegian Ambassador to Portugal, Anders Erdal, the Coordinator of the National Unit for the Management of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the National Focal Point, Susana Ramos and the Secretary General of the Environment and Climate Action, Operator of the Environment Program, Alexandra Carvalho.
