First Monitoring Committee of Afurada Living Lab project

The first Monitoring Committee of Afurada Living Lab project will take place on October 28, at 5pm, at the Afurada Heritage Interpretation Center (CIPA), in Vila Nova de Gaia

The main objectives of this first meeting are to present the project, the partners involved, their activities and operations, as well as to discuss the next steps for its implementation.

The Monitoring Committee includes the members of the Consortium and a set of relevant entities in the thematic areas of the project, namely ADENE, Águas de Gaia, APA, CCDR-Norte, Docapesca, Douro Marina, Energaia, FEUP, Parish Council of Canidelo, Parish Council of Santa Marinha and São Pedro da Afurada, University of Aveiro and the Secretary General of the Environment and Climate Action.

The Afurada Living Lab is a strategic and technological partnership that involves a diverse range of entities such as the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, CEDES, GAIURB, CEiiA, Ubiwhere, Grupo DST, Watt-Is and NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology).

Funded by the Programme “Environment, Climate Change and Low Carbon Economy” of EEA Grants, the consortium will implement different actions and activities focused on the thematic areas of “Sustainable Urban Mobility”, “Circular Economy and Environment” and “Buildings and Energy”, over a period of 3 years.
