New equipments for the “Bottle to Bottle” Project

The first equipment planned to enhance the Project's laboratory capacity is already in use

As part of the EEA Grants Environment Program, Ecoiberia Reciclados Ibéricos SA started the development of the “Bottle to Bottle: Top Quality PET Project for the circular economy of plastic bottles in Portugal” .

As one of the objectives is to improve Ecoiberia’s laboratory capacity in order to guarantee Quality and Safety, especially in terms of recycled food contact, the first equipment arrived as planned and is being used.

The equipment will make it possible to evaluate the optical, mechanical and thermal properties of the recycled material (R-Pet) that is produced. Allowing to make a qualitative assessment.
