On 24 and 25 March, the 1st edition of the course Integration of the Gender Perspective in Research took place under the GendER@UC EEA Grants project. This course is part of the training offer of the Doctoral Schools of the University of Coimbra (UC). The Doctoral Schools are a forum for sharing, training, crossing practices, resources and reflections, aligning doctoral programmes with the Strategic Areas of the UC.
This course works, through practical tools, the development of skills for the integration of the gender dimension in research in different scientific areas, promoting academic excellence and aligning basic and applied research conducted at the UC with the policy and funding agendas for research. This edition had 19 participants from 10 UC doctoral programmes, including Experimental Biology and Medicine, Information Sciences and Technology and Literature Materialities.
