The National Focal Point took part today in a co-creation workshop dedicated to identifying innovative solutions to simplify the application cycle for projects supported by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.

The initiative took place in Lisbon, at the facilities of ARTE – the Public Sector Technological Reform Agency, and brought together Programme Operators, the National Partner of the Culture Programme, and the Agency for Development and Cohesion (AD&C).

Organised by LabX – the Public Sector Innovation Centre, the workshop adopted collaborative and participatory methodologies, fostering a working environment focused on efficiency and continuous improvement. The teams involved analysed challenges, mapped needs and co-created proposals aimed at making the application stages more agile in the next EEA Grants funding cycle.

The initiative reinforced the shared commitment of all entities involved to modernising processes, improving the experience of applicants and beneficiaries, and ensuring simpler management, aligning the work with the demands of the new funding phase.
