Through the EEA Grants, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway established the objective of reducing social and economic disparities in Europe by strengthening bilateral relations with the Beneficiary States. Portugal will benefit from an amount of 102,7M€.

In order to promote the bilateral relations between Portuguese and Icelandic entities under the scope of the EEA Grants, a Portuguese delegation held, between June 3rd and 4th, several strategic meetings in Iceland.
The EEA Grants have a no-tolerance policy on corruption and mismanagement. Complaints and alerts on suspected irregularities may be submitted directly to any entity involved in the implementation of the EEA Grants 2014-2021.
