This Call aims to promote the development of pilot projects of living labs for decarbonisation and climate change mitigation.


The present call for bilateral initiatives aims to support the establishment or reinforcement of international partnerships between Portugal, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and the preparation of joint project applications for Call 2 – «Connecting Dots».

Directorate General for the Arts (Culture Programme Partner)

Connecting Dots – multidisciplinary arts programming projects that contribute to the strengthening of arts provision, access and participation in low-density territories in the Mainland Portugal and in the Azores and Madeira Islands, with a strong emphasis on bilateral cooperation at project and outcome levels.

National Management Unit (UNG) National Focal Point

EEA Grants supports initiatives aiming at strengthening bilateral relations between Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway (Donor States) and Portugal through the Fund for Bilateral Relations, a fund operated by the National Management Unit, that acts as National Focal Point.

Last May and June, CIP, in partnership with NovaSBE, organized two online events with Promova participants, labelled as Digital Get Together. Promova is a Pre-Defined Project (PDP) of the “Worklife Balance and Gender Equality" Programme.

Statistics Portugal carried out the second edition of the Fertility Survey. This survey is part of the PDP3-Project National Statistics System on Gender Equality, promoted by Statistics Portugal and financed by the EEAGrants (Work-life Balance Programme).

Report Irregularities

The EEA Grants have a no-tolerance policy on corruption and mismanagement. Complaints and alerts on suspected irregularities may be submitted directly to any entity involved in the implementation of the EEA Grants 2014-2021.
