Through this Call, the selected projects must promote participation mechanisms in the fields of science, politics and society and bear in mind the uncertainties associated with the threats and opportunities deriving from climate change relevant to the adaptation plan or strategy or to the sectorial policies or plan at a local level to be developed. Actually, the development of national, regional and local adaptation plans and strategies is the basis for action on adaptation to climate change. The appropriate planning for future climate changes allows decision-makers and local entities to prioritise measures and investments, reducing long-term environmental, social and economic costs.
Applications must be submitted using for each Call the respective electronic application form and attachments on the EEA Grants website available within the Calls.
