Public Presentation Session of the Project "Network of Local Authorities for Equality"

The Public Presentation Session of the EEA Grants Project "Network of Municipalities for Equality" will happen on June 9th, at 2:30 pm, in an online format, through the Zoom platform.

The project is promoted by Questão de Igualdade – Associação para a Inovação Social, in partnership with the Municipalities of Aljezur, Amadora, Cascais, Loulé, Mangualde, Odemira, Palmela, Póvoa de Lanhoso and Vila Nova de Gaia, and the Center For Gender and Equality of the University of Adger, in Norway.

The main objective of the project is to promote networking, stimulating dialogue about Equality between Women and Men and Work-Life Balance, based on the creation of a Network of Local Authorities, with national coverage and recognized work in this area, which together proposes to test instruments and methodologies that have already been validated, with a view to creating innovative positive action measures that can be incorporated by other municipalities in the country.

In this Public Presentation Session, which will feature the participation of Rosa Monteiro, Secretary of State for Citizenship and Equality, Tove Bruvik Westberg, Ambassador of Norway in Portugal, Sandra Ribeiro, President of the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality - CIG and the Coordinator of the EEA Grants Portugal National Management Unit, Susana Ramos, will be presented the main objectives of the project, which will run until October 2023, as well as the activities to be developed and the results to be achieved.
