Programme:What did this initiative focus on?
On 2nd December 2022 at 9 am Lisbon time/10 am Oslo time was realized the kick-off meeting of be-READY Project – REsilient roAD pavements for sustainabilitY was held at Zoom Platform.
The meeting proceeded as planned in the agenda previously send in the notice of the meeting being the following:
1. Presentation of all the partners of the project;
2. Discussion of next scheduled activity – hybrid workshop at OsloMet;
3. Adjustment of project timeline;
4. Other subjects.
The following partners attend the meeting:
• Vítor Antunes from Lusófona University;
• Berthe Dongmo-Engeland from Oslo Metropolitan University;
• Ana Cristina Freire from National Laboratory for Civil Engineering;
• Filipe Gameiro from JJR Group.
Previous to the kick-off meeting, the following partners met to discuss and plan the hybrid workshop at Oslo Metropolitan University:
• Vítor Antunes from Lusófona University;
• Berthe Dongmo-Engeland from Oslo Metropolitan University;
• Ana Cristina Freire from National Laboratory for Civil Engineering;
• José Neves from Instituto Superior Técnico – Univeristy of Lisbon;
• Beenash Shahzadi from Viken County.
In this way, most of the partners of the project had already the opportunity to meet and share ideas and knowledge.
The hybrid workshop at OsloMet (point 2 of the agenda) will take place at OlsoMet University between 8th May 2023 and 12th May 2023. The workshop will have two days for group meetings and three days for open sessions. The three days for open sessions will be divided into 6 sessions with 6 different subjects: 1 – Pavement Technologies; 2 – Roads Long-term Performance; 3 – Pavement Management; 4 – Climate change and Resilience of Road Pavements; 5 – Green Public Procurement – Policies; 6 – Implemented Sustainable Projects – Challenges and Drawbacks. Each session will have 6 presentations provided by invited speakers from different stakeholders of road pavement.
