Technical cooperation for the Valorization of Fish by- products up to the Health and Well-being sector

What did this initiative focus on?

This initiative aims to establish a network between the 3B's Research Group (University of Minho, Portugal), institutions, and companies in Iceland (University of Iceland Biomedical Center, Matis, Iceland Ocean Cluster, Codland, and Kerecis). This network will enhance knowledge and technological development for the valorization of marine by-products from the fishing industry, with the goal of manufacturing marine biomaterials for use in the healthcare sector.
