Católica Porto Business School, in partnership with NHH - Norwegian School of Economics, will lead a two-year research project (2022-2024) entitled "Auction design for renewables".
The principal investigator will be Ricardo Gonçalves, Associate Professor at CPBS and researcher at CEGE - Research Centre in Management and Economics.
The project was awarded through the EEA Grants Bilateral Fund, with total funding of approximately €17.000.
The purpose is to look deeper into the use of auctions for renewable energy production, especially solar and wind, applying it to the Portuguese and Norwegian experiences.
Throughout the project, relevant stakeholders will be involved in what is expected to be a bilateral initiative built around cooperation, networking, exchange, sharing and transfer of knowledge on the theme – renewable energy auctions – between Portugal and Norway.
