A Norwegian and Icelandic companies business mission in Portugal, within the scope of the EEA Grants, was held from the 14th to the 15th of November. This mission aimed to promote and develop bieral contacts for the development of joint projects related to blue economy, including the application of innovative technology and processes that are research-oriented.
The "Norway-Iceland-Portugal Business Opportunities" conference was held on the first day, with the participation of João Dias, Executive Member of aicep Portugal Global, Anders Erdal, Ambassador of the Norwegian Embassy in Lisbon, Susana Ramos, Head of the National Management Unit of the EEA Grants and Ruben Eiras, General Director of the Directorate General for Maritime Policy, among others. There was also opportunity for a Norwegian, Icelandic and Portuguese companies pitching session.
On November 15th, the morning was dedicated to B2B sessions (bilateral meetings), between companies from the different countries, to promote and stimulate the adjustment between future partnerships within the EEA Grants scope, with special focus on the Blue Growth programme.
This initiative was organized by aicep Portugal Global with Innovation Norway in collaboration with the Norwegian Embassy in Lisbon, the National Management Unit of the EEA Grants and the DGPM.
