Lisbon hosts clarification session for Coastal Cultural Heritage

Final clarification session for Coastal Cultural Heritage, held on November 12th at the National Museum of Ethnology.

The Culture Programme launched on 5th of September the open call “Local development through the Safeguarding and Revitalization of Coastal Cultural Heritage” to fund projects throughout the national territory.

On 12th of November, the Directorate General for Cultural Heritage will promote, the last clarification session in Lisbon, at the National Museum of Ethnology, at 10.00am, In order to support and clarify candidates requested for this contest.

This event aims to contribute to the programme objectives knowledge, and to support and clarify potential promoters for this call, targeted to local agents and communities.

The added value of creating projects under this call is that they can be carried out in multiple partnerships with donor states entities, encouraging the sharing of experiences, enhancing resources capacitation based on good practices, the use of new technologies, and the internationalization of the Portuguese cultural heritage. Thereby, the programme expects to produce important impact on the revitalization and sustainable development of local communities.

The presentations are of a technical scope, addressing the issues raised so far in the various sessions, ending with questions and answers moment.
