The coordinator of the National Focal Point of the EEA Grants, Susana Ramos, and Niels Engelschiøn, Director General of the Department for European Affairs of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and President of the Financial Mechanism Committee, were the representatives of Portugal and the Donor States, respectively, that signed the "Programme Agreement" of the EEA Grants Culture Programme, that took place on February 26th in Oslo, Norway.
This moment happened during the official visit of the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Augusto Santos Silva, to Oslo, from February 25th to the 26th.
Regarding the Culture Programme and its current situation, Susana Ramos, responsible for the NFP of the EEA Grants, stated that "The next step for the Culture Programme is to conclude the programme implementation agreement between the National Focal Point and the programme operator, the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage. After this moment, all the conditions will be fulfilled so that, in the short term, open calls can be opened".
