The Cascais Smart Pole consortium, a joint initiative led by Nova School of Business and Economics under the EEA Grants "Environment, Climate Change and Low Carbon Economy" Programme, has successfully concluded three years of intense activity in favour of the environment and sustainability.
Over the last 36 months, the consortium has endeavoured to develop a living laboratory towards carbon neutrality, promoting the implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions in the municipality of Cascais.
Now, we are delighted to invite the public to take part in the event to close the project and celebrate Earth Day, where the results of the work carried out will be presented.
The event's programme includes a series of activities throughout the day, including:
- Project Closing Session and Earth Day: To take part, please send an email to cascaissmartpole@get2c.pt to ensure your enrolment.
- Reusable Menstrual Pads Workshop: Organised by Recostura, the workshop will take place at NOVA SBE on 22 April, from 14:00 to 17:00. Sign up using this form.
- Beach Clean-up: Join the Movimento Claro Association for a beach clean-up on Torre beach, in front of NOVA SBE, on 22 April, from 11:00 to 12:30. Sign up here.
- Skate Torre Plstik competition: Take part in one of the activities on 22 April, let your imagination run wild and win a skateboard made from recycled plastic.
