In this environmental volunteering action, we invite everyone to get their hands in the soil to plant a very special native species.
The goal of this planting action will be to create habitat for the southern fritillary butterfly (Melitaea aetherie) by planting the artichoke (Cynara cardunculus), its host plant.
This activity is part of the "More Pollinators, More Biodiversity in the Municipality of Oeiras" project, funded by EEAGrantsPT.
Recommendations: Bring water, a snack and wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather conditions expected for the day.
