Last October 16, the Autumn Bioblitz was held at Quinta de Recreio do Marquês de Pombal, under the project "21_SGS#3_More Pollinators, More Biodiversity in the Municipality of Oeiras". Participants were challenged to identify and record species on iNaturalist (citizen science mobile app), over the course of a day that was divided into five expert-led routes dedicated to different biodiversity groups: birds, plants, insects, amphibians and reptiles, and, at the end of the day, lichens.
Thanks to this citizen science effort, it was possible to identify more than a hundred different species.
