Sustainable Value

Sustainable Value

The Sustainable Value project comprises a service with a strong capacity for penetration and acceptance in the market associated with sustainable construction and circular economy

The project consists of creating a product certification tool for construction based on the knowledge and experience of professionals in the field of sustainability and construction, and scientific research on the subject.

Its specific objectives are: to be an indispensable and innovative service in the sustainable construction market and circular economy; create value for a specific product for construction, through the attribution of a certification seal; evaluate the material or equipment throughout its life cycle, using a dedicated computer tool; promote the reduction of environmental impacts, also informing how it should be deconstructed at the end of its useful life and its capacity for reuse and / or recycling.

The seal will indicate that that product, when certified, was developed and will contribute in its use phase to a better social, economic and environmental environment, thus promoting the reduction of environmental impacts, also informing how it should be deconstructed at the end of its useful life and its ability to reuse, reuse and / or recycle.

The total funding is € 57,807.89, of which € 49,136.71 is financed by the EEA Grants and the rest co-financed by the Promoter. The duration of the project is 12 months.

The Environment Programme supports this project within the scope of the Small Grants Scheme#2, which aims to finance projects that focus on priority areas for reducing plastics in the oceans and promoting awareness of the challenges related to plastics in the oceans and proposing solutions.

Under the EEA Grants 2014-2021, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, as donor Countries, finance, in 15 Member States of the European Union, initiatives and projects with the objective of reducing social and economic disparities by strengthening bilateral relations with beneficiary Countries.
