Decrease the gender gap in management positions

 

 

The Portuguese Business Confederation (CIP) presents, on the November 18th, the Promova Project. This is a Predefined Project (PDP) funded under the EEA Grants 2014-2021 Financial Mechanism, in the Work-life Balance Programmme (managed by CIG).

This project aims to identify and develop female talents with leadership potential, to foster their promotion to top management positions in companies, thereby helping to decrease the gender equality gap.  

Promova Project includes a training component, designed in partnership with the Nova School of Business and Economics, and a mentoring component, in collaboration with senior managers from different companies.  

The presentation session of this Project is going to be attended by the President of CIP, António Saraiva, the Secretary of State for Citizenship and Equality, Rosa Monteiro, the President of the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality, Teresa Fragoso, the Norwegien Ambassador in Portugal, Anders Erdal, the Director of the Promociona Project promoted by the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), the EEA Grants National Focal Point Coordinator, Susana Ramos and the Nova SBE Director, Daniel Traça.

This event takes place at 10:30 am, at CIP, Praça das Indústrias, in Lisbon.
