Boom Final Conteudo

On May 31st 2023 the Final Conference of the project BOOMERANG: Study on the perceptions of the economic impact of unequal sharing of unpaid work in the lives of immigrant women and men in Portugal, will take place. Dedicated to the theme “Migrations, Families and Inequalities”, the event has free admission, but subject to registration, and will be held at the Auditorium of University of Maia, located at Avenida Carlos de Oliveira Campos - Castêlo da Maia, from 9:00 am

This seminar aims to disseminate the results of the project and provide a space for sharing knowledge and reflection on the issues of gender equality and conciliation between personal, family, and professional life, relevant to the lives of immigrant people.

The project is funded by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism, EEA Grants 2014-2021 and promoted by the Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ISCSP-ULisboa). It is operated by the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG) and scientifically responsible by the Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies (CIEG/ISCSP-ULisboa), in partnership with the University of Maia, Open University, Plano i Association, Braga delegation of the Portuguese Red Cross, SOS RACISMO and Odalnaeringshage.
