MERIT Project Final Seminar: unveiling the impact of parenthood on income equality

The Public Health Institute of the University of Porto (ISPUP) is about to hold the Final Seminar of the MERIT project - MothER Income InequaliTy, on March 1st, from 10 am to 12:30 pm, at the ISPUP premises.

This event represents the culmination of 18 months of research on the impact of parenthood on income, career trajectory, and well-being of both women and men. During the seminar, the results of this research, which will be analyzed by experts, will be disclosed:

- Prof. Paulo Pedroso (ISCTE-IUL, Causa Pública)
- Ms. Albertina Jordão (International Labour Organization)
- Ms. Rita Sá Machado (Director-General of Health)

The MERIT project was carried out in collaboration with the Centre for Research on Pandemics & Society in Norway and was funded by the EEA Grants, through the Gender Equality and Conciliation program, managed by the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG).

The event will be livestreamed on the ISPUP YouTube channel.

After its public presentation, the White Paper of the project will be available for consultation on the project's website, where interested individuals can also obtain more information about it.
