The Statistics Portugal (INE), Promoter of the Project National Statistics System on Gender Equality launched the Project’s website.
This website includes information about:
- The Gender Database, a platform to map relevant data from the point of view of gender equality;
- The Fertility Survey, which main results were released in December 2020;
The methodology and technological solutions to be adopted in a future Time Use Survey.
The National Statistics System on Gender Equality is developed as a Predefined Project within the scope of the Work-life Balance Programme, operated by CIG and funded by EEA Grants. The Project aims to improve the Gender Databases currently developed by INE, so that a more comprehensive system ON gender statistics and information, in several dimensions, will be available, either for stakeholders responsible for policies, or for the general public.
