Small Grant Scheme #2 approved projects move forward

Small Grant Scheme #2 - which includes prevention projects for children and young people and promoting non-violent masculinities - enters a new stage after the approval of five projects whose contracts are officially signed. With a total value of €270,418, the five projects will contribute to the improvement of the system for the protection and prevention of violence against women and domestic violence, by supporting prevention programs in these areas.

Five projects, two major priority areas

The five approved projects are divided into two priority areas. The priority area that focuses on "primary prevention" has four projects, from ADICE - Association for the Integrated Development of the City of Ermesinde, Questão de Igualdade - Association for Social Innovation, Junta Freguesia Benfica and the Municipality of Alcobaça. The priority area for "projects that promote secondary prevention" includes the project of the Hospital Support Center for Children and Young People at Risk of Hospital Fernando Fonseca, EPE.

The five national entities that promote the projects will develop their projects with durations between 20 and 24 months.
