The Project NO! celebrated March 8, 2022, International Women's Day, with the first meeting of the Interinstitutional Commission for the Prevention of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (VWDV). The partner entities were invited to be present at the Carlos Paredes Auditorium, at the Benfica Parish Council, to start this joint work. It is intended that this commission is a network of local institutions that act in an articulated way, with a view to preventing situations against women and domestic violence, through a culture of non-violence, the promotion of human rights, equality and non-discrimination. In this first working session, the Local Plan for the Prevention of VMVD was presented. This session was also attended by the President of the Board, Ricardo Marques and the Member of Social Rights, Carla Rothes, having valued and reinforced the importance of networking.
