On April 15, a Webinar & Matchmaking of the Blue Growth Programme was held, organized by the Directorate General for Maritime Policy, in collaboration with Innovation Norway and Rannís. Also participating, the Portuguese Business Association and Business Iceland, institutions of the Enterprise Europe Network, with strong connections with the entrepreneurial sector of their countries.
About 160 participants were present in the Webinar, which aimed to present the Blue Growth Programme and the 3 open Calls in the area of Business Development, Innovation and SMEs.
The Matchmaking had 54 entities represented: 36 Portuguese, 9 Norwegian and 9 Icelandic, and aimed to promote bilateral cooperation and identify opportunities for collaboration between companies from Portugal and potential partners in Norway and Iceland, operating in the Blue Economy sector. Among those entities, 24 business-to-business meetings were held, with an average of 17 minutes per meeting.
