The Directorate-General for Maritime Policy of the Ministry of the Economy and Maritime Affairs, herein simply referred as DGPM, is a central service under the direct administration of the State, which is administratively autonomous..
The mission of DGPM is to develop, monitor and up-to-date the National Ocean Strategy, produce and submit the national ocean policy in their different aspects, develop maritime spatial planning in their different uses and activities, follow and participate on the development of Integrated Maritime Policy of the European Union and promote the national and international cooperation related to the sea.
While EEA Grants 2014-2021 PT Programme Operator, its responsibilities include the programme management dedicated to “Blue Growth”.
