The project "Oficina dos Afetos - Educar para a Igualdade" asked preschool children, who participated in the project's activities, to draw about what they feel when they are yelled at!
The results of this activity are now available in the exhibition “When someone yells at me I feel…”, which opened on the 26th of April, in Patrício Prazeres Basic School.
In this exhibition, a neighborhood was recreated, consisting of a school and several buildings, and where behind each window and each door you can find the drawings made by the children, accompanied by their testimonies, about how they felt when they were yelled at.
The Project “Oficina dos Afetos – Educar para a Igualdade” is promoted by Questão de Igualdade – Associação para a Inovação Social, in partnership with the Parish of Penha de França, Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa – UDIP Madredeus, CPCJ Lisboa – Centro, Patrício Prazeres School, Olaias School, Nuno Gonçalves School and Likestillingssenteret – Center for Gender and Equality, funded under the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 Programme Work-life Balance.
