On March 17th 2022, the Project Participo! which is promoted by União de Freguesias de Aldoar, Foz do Douro e Nevogilde, operationalized by CIG- Comissão para a Cidadania e Igualdade de Género (Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality) and funded by the financial mechanism EEA Grants Portugal, developed the Webinar "Men's participation in the fight for gender equality".
To enrich the conversation and enhance networking, different institutions that develop their work in the field of male representation and deconstruct gender stereotypes were invited. They are the Marvel Project: Masculinities (re)veiled, promoted by Associação Plano i, Associação MenTalks, Movimento HeForShe Porto and the Project Ser Humano na Igualdade.
Over almost two hours, a conversation flowed that became a space to exchange views and concepts related to masculinities.
It was a unique possibility to listen to the experiences and the work developed in different projects and organizations that develop work that privilege the gender equality theme in Portugal.
