On October 24th, at 11 am, there will be a public session of the Yes Igualdade, a project promoting the political and civic participation of women and girls at the local level, to be held in the Auditorium of Paços do Concelho, with the presence of His Excellency, the Deputy Minister and Parliamentary Affairs, Ana Catarina Mendes.
The session will be the moment when the objectives and activities of the project will be presented, as well as the first phase of the sociological study of the territory, which assesses the perception of gender inequalities in terms of civic, associative, political and professional participation, developed by the Superior School of Technology and Management – Polytechnic Institute of Porto, and also the presentation of the Municipal Plan for Equality and Non-Discrimination of the Municipality of Felgueiras.
The YES Equality project is funded under the EEA Grants Work-life Balance Program, operated by the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG).
