The main objective is to increase competitiveness and sustainability for Portuguese companies within the focus area of Blue Growth.
In this sense, it is intended through this Call to finance enterprises to develop, apply, and commercialize innovative products and technologies and also encouraging cooperation between business and research institutions in order to promote innovation based on user-oriented research.
Are considered eligible applicants SMEs and large enterprises with no more than 25% public ownership, established as legal persons in Portugal.
The total allocation available is €14.200.000 (75% of the funding will be allocated to SMEs) and the minimum and maximum funding amounts per project are € 200,000 and € 500.000, respectively.
The Blue Growth Programme has as Programme Operator the Directorate General for Maritime Policy and as Donor Programme Partners of the donor countries the Innovation Norway (IN), the Icelandic Centre for Research (RANNIS), the Research Council of Norway (NFR) and the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education (DIKU).
